Golf Rehab & Performance

TPI Certified Facility

Ellen-Treatment

TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.

For over twenty years, TPI has gathered the world’s largest technical database of the game’s top Tour professionals as well as every-day golfers.

TPI collects 3D motion capture, force, pressure, launch monitor, strength, power, and movement data on every player that visits the TPI campus.

Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible.

Conversely, TPI determined how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.

This relationship is what TPI calls The Body-Swing Connection and is the foundation of all professional Certification courses offered by TPI.

TPI Screenings

Perfect for golfers looking to identify potential sources of pain and/or injuries that are affecting golf performance.

These hour-long screenings provide an opportunity to learn how their physiology, body mechanics & movement patterns affect their golf swing.

From the TPI screening, we will be able to identify the opportune path of progression, whether that’s addressing some pain/injury needing Physical Therapy, or jumping into performance training.

Golfers will be provided some introductory corrective movements specific to their individual needs.

Golf Rehab

Recovering from a golf injury? Our golf physical therapy program targets the root cause of pain through a biomechanical assessment and movement analysis.

We build a personalized rehab plan to improve mobility, strength, and control—restoring function and helping you return to the course stronger and more resilient. Golfers will be ready to swing right into golf performance sessions.

Golf Performance

Perfect for golfers who want to improve mobility, stability, and strength for a smoother, more efficient swing.

This program lays the groundwork for better movement, injury prevention, and longevity on the course.

With specific focus on maximizing clubhead speed, developing explosive power, and refining mechanics for a stronger, more consistent game.

Dr. Sean Clark

Dr. Sean Clark

Physical Therapist, Coach, TPI Level 1

Dr. Sean was born and raised in Southwest Michigan and earned a BA in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Pulp & Paper Engineering in 2013. Throughout his career as an Application Engineer and Project Manager, he confirmed his passion for physics and science, but realized industrial applications of these topics were not the right fit. This led him to pursue his true calling as a Physical Therapist and he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from WMU in 2022.

Sean has had a strong interest in human physiology and biomechanics with his love for sports, exercise, and human performance. Over time, he realized how important injury prevention and rehabilitation can be to maintain athletic performance and everyday function. Helping people maximize function and meet their athletic goals quickly became a passion!

When not at work you can find him golfing, playing ultimate frisbee, throwing competitive darts, exploring nature or starting too many home renovation projects at the same time. He is beyond excited to be a part of the Mindset community and grow as a therapist alongside his future patients.
