Vestibular and Balance Rehabilitation

Feeling dizzy or off-balance? Are you afraid of falling?

How we can help:

The vestibular system includes the parts of the inner ear and brain that process the sensory information involved with controlling balance and eye movements. If disease or injury damages these processing areas, vestibular disorders can result.

The most commonly diagnosed vestibular disorders include benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), labyrinthitis and vestibular neuritis, and Ménière’s disease. Vestibular disorders also include superior canal dehiscence, acoustic neuroma, ototoxicity, enlarged vestibular aqueduct syndrome, and mal de débarquement. Other problems related to vestibular dysfunction include vestibular migraine and complications from autoimmune disorders and allergies.

Dr. Ellen is specialized in treatment of conditions of this system and would love to help you get your balance and spatial awareness back, along with reduce your risk of injury from falls.
